Michael B. Jordan is the only choice for our Man Crush Monday this week. I don’t know if it’s the smile or the abs but he is irresistible. The first time I unknowingly saw him was in Hardball, when he was about 14 years old. The second time I laid eyes on him he was grown and playing one of the rare black characters in the beloved NBC TV show, Parenthood, from 2010-2011. He played such a strong, attractive character so, it was no question that I had to see him in Fruitvale Station. If it wasn’t for Jordan I don’t think I would have ever watched the movie. He brought the last day of Oscar Grant to life for those who were not apart of it. From here on I knew I had to see every movie he was in. I believe it was Creed that put the icing on the cake for him. He showed his talent like no other. Jordan played Adonis Johnson as if he was apart of every Rocky movie before that. With every character he plays he shows us a new side to his talent. I can’t wait to see what he blesses us with next.
